GOVERNMENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF ARMENIA

ON APPROVING THE LIST OF SEASONAL WORKS

Pursuant to part 2 of Article 100 of the Labour Code of the Republic of Armenia, the Government of the Republic of Armenia hereby decides:

1. To approve the list of seasonal works pursuant to the Annex.

2. This Decision shall enter into force on the tenth day following the day of its official promulgation.

Annex to Decision of the Government  of the Republic of Armenia No 1480-N of 25 August 2005

LIST

1. Snow removal works of route lines in operation, access routes and station tracks;

2. Earthworks and asphalt paving in road construction;

3. Power plant construction and overhaul works:

(a) reconstruction of urban telephone networks from aerial to underground cable lines, preparation of concrete items in a manhole related thereto;

(b) wiring of underground and underwater armoured cables;

(c) construction of aerial pole and fixed urban telephone networks and long-distance telegraph-telephone lines;

(d) chemical saturation of columns carried out in the open air;

4. Works of forestry and provision of consulting services: planting of seedlings, reforestation, collection of forest products;

5. Fishing and hunting for lake animals and processing of other products of fishing and hunting for lake animals related thereto;

6. Works at sugar factories, directly related to making sugar from sugar beets, works of drying sugar beet in beet driers, works of drying oil cake being carried out at sugar factories during the period of sugar production.

7. Works of fermenting, preserving and filling of fruits and vegetables.

8. Agricultural works, including:

(a) pre-sowing works;

(b) spring agricultural works;

(c) harvesting works;

(d) post-harvesting works;

(e) organising parturition of agricultural animals;

(f) feeding and caring of young animal up to the age of 4 months, including;

(g) grazing behaviours of agricultural animals;

(h) organising of shearing;

9. Works of turf, including extraction, drying and collection of turf, except for works on mechanized units and power equipment (hydroturf, milling and machine molding extraction, work on moulder caterpillars, etc.) carried out by workers in permanent mines;

10. River and lake exploration works;

11. Water distribution and land improvement works, works of drying and irrigation;

12. In the iodine industry, all works for extracting and burning lake algae and works related thereto;

13. Works of desalination and restoration of soils;

14. Works of persons (gardeners) taking care of green spaces;

15. Works of firefighter-inspector in state reserves;

16. Engineering and exploration works (topography workers, workers of machine drilling);

17. Works in open air catering facilities;

18. Maintenance works and services related to winter entertainment;

19. Maintenance works related to operating of swimming pools;

20. Works of bonificator (workers carrying out measures against prevention of Malaria).
